Two-factor Authentication

With two-factor authentication, the Stamp can serve as a digital fingerprint for security implementations. Each stamp is completely unique, but can be easily replaced if duplicated. In fact, the Stamp is better than a fingerprint, because biometrics can be mechanically copied but not easily changed.

Two-factor Pin

How is it different?

No need to carry around a battery-powered device (example: RSA tokens, Smartcards, mobile two-factor verification) to give the user a generated, time-based, pass code that is difficult to enter in on the device they’re logging in to

No need for additional readers for fingerprints, Smartcards, or USB tokens

Works on all modern multi-touch devices ranging from smartphones, to tablets, to laptop track pads

Mobile authentication is fragmented — NFC, Bluetooth, and fingerprint authentication technologies only work on a subset of devices. The SnowShoe Stamp is the only device that natively works on all major mobile operating systems

Most hardware token-based systems are very expensive to distribute. The SnowShoe Stamp is the most inexpensive two-factor authentication device on the market — it’s plastic and doesn’t involve electronics

How does the Stamp work?

  1. The SnowShoe Stamp is carried by the user for a secure two-factor login process
  2. When the correct user’s Stamp is placed on the device a dial shows up, and the dial can be manipulated
  3. The user enters in his known pin by rotating the Stamp (like a locker combination). Once the pin has been entered correctly, the user receives secure access

Coming soon...the Stamp will be in the size of a credit card form factor!
