With two-factor authentication, the Stamp can serve as a digital fingerprint for security implementations. Each stamp is completely unique, but can be easily replaced if duplicated. In fact, the Stamp is better than a fingerprint, because biometrics can be mechanically copied but not easily changed.
No need to carry around a battery-powered device (example: RSA tokens, Smartcards, mobile two-factor verification) to give the user a generated, time-based, pass code that is difficult to enter in on the device they’re logging in to
No need for additional readers for fingerprints, Smartcards, or USB tokens
Works on all modern multi-touch devices ranging from smartphones, to tablets, to laptop track pads
Mobile authentication is fragmented — NFC, Bluetooth, and fingerprint authentication technologies only work on a subset of devices. The SnowShoe Stamp is the only device that natively works on all major mobile operating systems
Most hardware token-based systems are very expensive to distribute. The SnowShoe Stamp is the most inexpensive two-factor authentication device on the market — it’s plastic and doesn’t involve electronics
