If you are on wifi and you are running several apps in the background, the loyaltyapp sometimes has a hard time working efficiently. Here are the steps to close the app out on the iPhone and to restart it:

  1. Double tap the Home button to bring up the Multitasking bar
  2. Press and hold on the app's icon until it begins to wiggle
  3. While they are wiggling, the icon has a Minus sign symbol above it, press the Minus symbol above the app to close it down
  4. Press the Home button to close out of the Multitasking bar and reopen the app

Is the phone screen being stamped properly? Make sure the stamp makes a good contact with the screen, but remember you don't have to press very hard to get a successful stamp! Also, make sure your fingers aren't touching the phone screen.

Yes, your customers are asked to log into the app when they first use it. You will receive their email addresses, so you can send them email deals in the future.

SnowShoe will provide you several in-store signs and business cards to help you tell your customers about the app. Both the posters and business cards will have a QR code and a url that will direct your customers to the appropriate app store.

Make sure the posters are easily visible and that you pass out the business cards to your customers. Remind your staff to tell customers about the app at the register. Also, promote the app on your Facebook page, Twitter, Foursquare, and on your website.

SnowShoe has a merchant login, where you can sign in and see all your customer usage statistics on an hourly basis.

Training is minimum, and the SnowShoe Stamp is easy to use! SnowShoe has several demonstration videos (coming soon), these should give your employees an understanding of how the app works. Remember, it is important to have your employees play with the app in the store before customers try to use it.

SnowShoe recommends supplying free wi-fi in your store. The app will work on your customer's cellular network if there is good connectivity. However, the app will run faster and more smoothly over wi-fi.
